Overseer
The Overseer of the Sanguine Eye is the ruling power and the highest in its chain of command. Holding close ties to the Spire, the Overseer embodies the Eye’s ideology and vision, and ensures that the Oathsworn serve Quel’Thalas to their fullest.

Officer responsibilities:
Partake in officer-meetings: Yes.
Give orders when leading missions: Yes.
Give orders outside of missions: Yes.
Can give lower-ranked members: severe, moderate or light punishments.

Ranking when leading missions:
- Above all other ranks.

Other expectations:
- Supervising lower-ranked members.
- Judging Loyalists.
- Conducting Interviews.
- Promote/demote/remove members.
- Dealing with OOC matters.


Blood Lord
The Blood Lord is second-in-command of the Sanguine Eye, assigned to the position by the Overseer himself. Though the Blood Lord answers to the Overseer alone, he will champion the militaristic side of the Order. Championing the same ideals as does the Overseer, the Blood Lord serves as the Eye’s leader in his absence.

Officer responsibilities:
Partake in officer-meetings: Yes.
Give orders when leading missions: Yes.
Give orders outside of missions: Yes.
Can give lower-ranked members: severe, moderate or light punishments.

Ranking when leading missions:
- Below Overseer.

Expectations:
- Supervising lower-ranked members.
- Judging Loyalists.
- Conducting Interviews.
- Promote/demote/remove members.
- Dealing with OOC matters.


Oathbinder
The Oathbinders are elves who have shown utter loyalty and dedication to the Eye, as well as being tactically minded and powerful within their own paths. They have been bestowed with the privilege of offering the Blood Oath, and ensuring it is kept sacred above all else within the Eye’s rank.
Oathbinders have command over all those below them, and provide exemplary figures for others to aspire towards.

Officer responsibilities:
Partake in officer-meetings: Yes.
Give orders when leading missions: Yes.
Give orders outside of missions: Yes.
Can give lower-ranked members: moderate or light punishments.

Ranking when leading missions:
- Below Blood Lord.

Expectations:
- Supervising lower-ranked members.
- Reporting misconduct to higher-ranked members.
- Guiding Loyalists.
- Judging Loyalists.
- Administrating blood oaths.
- Conducting interviews.
- One Oathbinder is assigned to oversee the Surveyors.
- Dealing with OOC matters.


Surveyor
Loyalists joining the Eye do not always find the critical assessment of their abilities and the Order’s harsh standards a simple hurdle to overcome. Thus, a select group of the Eye’s Oathsworn, known as Surveyors, were elected. Overseen by an Oathbinder, Surveyors exist as a guiding hand for those newly accepted into the Sanguine Eye’s ranks. They are expected to aid, steer, correct, and test Loyalists. Out in the field, Surveyors may also be called upon to lead the Eye into battle.

Officer responsibilities:
Partake in officer-meetings: when requested.
Give orders when leading missions: Yes.
Give orders outside of missions: No.
Can give lower-ranked members: light punishments.

Ranking when leading missions:
- Equal to Oathbinder.

Expectations:
- Supervising lower-ranked members.
- Reporting misconduct to higher-ranked members.
- Reporting to assigned Oathbinder when requested.
- Guiding Loyalists.
- Judging Loyalists.
- Overseeing Loyalist Trials.


Oathsworn
The Oathsworn is the core member of the Sanguine Eye, named for the Blood Oath taken in evidence of their proven worth. They are expected to be fundamentally loyal to the Eye’s ideals, skilled in their chosen field, and proud of their people and their homeland. Oathsworn work to serve the Eye’s ideals and reach its goals.


Apprentice
An Oathsworn proven capable and ready to serve the Order, but still in need of further instruction in their chosen field is to be assigned the rank of Apprentice. Bound by blood, the Eye will ensure they are assigned to a fitting tutor so budding skills may be perfected, and new abilities learned. What they lack in skill, they make up for in potential and zeal.


Loyalist
Loyalists are those elves who have been newly accepted into the Sanguine Eye. Their loyalty unproven, Loyalists are granted the Surveyors’ guidance, as well as their scrutiny and those of all above them in rank. Not yet allowed to wear the Sanguine Eye’s tabard, they are expected to submit to the command of all elves who have taken the Oath before them.
Loyalists have until the conclusion of the first campaign after their recruitment to prove themselves worthy of taking the Blood Oath.

Powers and responsibilities:
- Proving their worth.


Blood Traitor
When an elf goes against the Blood Oath, their Overseer and the Eye fully and without remorse, they become Blood Traitors to the Sanguine Eye, quarry to be hunted by its members. If they surrender themselves to the Eye, their fate will be less dire than those who knowingly run from their betrayal. When captured, they shall be inflicted with a Seed of Corruption and kept vigil upon, expected to stay close and entirely loyal to the Eye and the Overseer, to prove their betrayal will not be repeated.
