Argus, Silithus and the Eye

Hey everyone,

With the Antorus raid underway we wanted to provide you with a quick overview of how the Eye shall be handling the raid and the events surrounding it ICly. We will mainly be adhering to the LFR release schedule, to ensure that by the time the raid is 'done' everyone is able to be in the right phase. This schedule may involve some spoilers.

December 5: Start of the Eye's Argus campaign. The Vindicaar has just breached Antorus and the siege commences.

December 12: Finale of our campaign, the Eye will return to Azeroth.

We recommend that if anyone has any further IC business on Argus, they see to this within the next few weeks.

January 3: From this point onward a demonic cloud begins to envelop Azeroth, gradually blocking out the sun. This can be acknowledged ICly, though keep in mind that it may not be acknowledged by other RPers outside of our guild.

The cloud's density will increase over the next few weeks.

January 18: The events in Antorus come to a close and will drastically affect Azeroth. The cloud in the sky vanishes as does Argus, making place for a bright star. Argus will become beyond reach ICly.

We are planning some events around the 17th of January, expect those to pop up on your calendars after the holidays!

Alike with the events above, we have decided to make a small schedule of how the Eye shall be interpreting the ongoing events in-game ICly. As per usual, this may not be how other RPers on the server interpret these events, but at least we as a guild should be on the same page.

As we do not know when and at which rate Blizzard plans to release further parts of the Silithus storyline, this schedule shall be updated when more information becomes available.

January 18: Sargeras strikes while the Eye is in Tanaris, further investigation of this event may follow. The cloud in the sky vanishes and so does Argus, making place for a bright star. Argus will become beyond reach ICly.

In the days that follow celebrations erupt across Azeroth, the Legion is defeated and the forces that fought on Argus return home. At the same time rumors start to emerge of the goblins having discovered something in Silithus.

January 24: By now an official Horde operation is underway in Silithus spearheaded by the Bilgewater Cartel after the goblins discovered a new type of potent ore. There are rumors that the Alliance has been spotted in Silithus as well.

News starts to trickle in about friction between the Horde and the Alliance. Both parties seek to acquire this strange ore and small skirmishes have occurred as a result.
